KREATED Start a Project

Web Design & Development

A custom site built to be found, trusted, and easy to contact, including businesses with no website at all.

What it is

A finished site that is live and working

Web design and development is the work of planning, designing and building a website: what it says, how it is structured, how it looks and how it behaves, through to a finished site that is live and working.

A Kreated website is built by one person from the first conversation to launch. The person who scopes the project is the person who designs and builds it, so nothing is lost in a handover and there is never a question about who is responsible for the work. Who that is, and why it works that way.

Websites typically take one to two weeks depending on scope, feedback and how quickly content and assets arrive. Payment is 50% to start and 50% before launch. After the final payment the finished website and the design and content created for the project are yours, and you can keep working on it with or without Kreated.

Every site launches search ready and structured so its information can be read correctly by people and by the systems that summarize businesses. That is a build standard rather than an ongoing campaign. The continuing versions of that work are Local SEO and Answer Engine Optimization.

Who it’s for

Three situations, three different jobs

  • A business with no website at allEverything a customer would use to judge you has to be made rather than improved: the structure, the wording, the way it reads on a phone. This is a normal starting point, not a disadvantage.
  • A business whose site was never really built for itA template that was fine to launch with, and now works against the quality of the work. If the bones are sound and only the surface is tired, Website Redesign is the cheaper answer.
  • A business that gets found on a phone, at the moment of needLocal service work is compared quickly and called quickly. The site has to make the case in the few seconds before the next contractor gets the call. If that business is a trade, web design for contractors covers what changes.

What you get

Everything a site needs to do its job

Scoped to the package you choose.

  • Strategy and site architectureWhat the site has to do, which pages exist and what each one is for, settled before design.
  • Custom responsive design and buildDesigned and built by one person, responsive from the start rather than adapted afterward.
  • Copy supportYour existing wording tidied, with headlines and calls to action written for you.
  • Search foundationsTitles, headings, clean URLs, sitemap and Search Console, live from day one.
  • Lead trackingGA4, with form submissions and phone taps recorded as conversions.
  • Ways to reach youEstimate form, click-to-call, and calls to action people can actually find.

How it runs

One person, start to launch

One person does all of it, so the diagnosis and the build never get separated.

Typical timeline: 1–2 weeks depending on scope, feedback and how quickly content arrives

  1. DecideScope, in writing, firstWhat the site has to do, which pages exist and what each one is for.
  2. BuildStructure before surfaceThe page map and the path to contacting you, settled before any design.
  3. BuildDesign and build togetherDesigned and built by the same person, so what is drawn is what ships.
  4. BuildCopy worked through with youYour wording tidied, with headlines and calls to action written for you.
  5. VerifyMeasurement wired inForm submissions and phone taps recorded as conversions before launch.

“Skyler had my new website and google business page live within a week and I couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out!”

I own a clothing brand with a large following and the website I had live was very awfully built (by me lol) and I was losing customers due to this. I chose the growth offer and care plan and the pricing moving forward was very transparent and upfront. Skyler had my new website and google business page live within a week and I couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out! I was asked for my opinion throughout the build of the website and I felt like my requests were always added/removed. Also, I have no clue how all the SEO stuff works so thankfully the care plan option is provided. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!!

Absolutely a wonderful experience from start to finish. Skyler helped me make my idea come to life! He worked with me every step of the way, and asked my input at every turn. We worked closely together deciding on how I wanted things worded, color schemes and pictures. He listened to my preferences and changed things as soon as I asked. He was very timely in his response, never letting more than a couple of hours pass without a response, any day of the week. His work Is extremely professional and he is very knowledgeable. From start to finish, it only took two weeks to fully develop my site and have it up and running. I could not be happier with how my new website and branding/logo turned out. I would recommend him over and over again!

Compared

A website builder, or a custom build

A builder is the right answer more often than designers admit.

A Kreated concept — not a client project

Morrow Coffee Co., a self-initiated Kreated brand concept
Morrow Coffee Co. A coffee bar and bakery, built from the name outward: identity, art direction, photography and a finished site. It is self-initiated work rather than a client engagement, and it is here to show the standard of the design and build — not to imply a client. Open the concept

What this is not

The edges, stated plainly

So nothing has to be walked back later.

  • Not an ongoing SEO campaign. The site launches search-ready; the continuing work is Local SEO, priced separately.
  • Not unlimited revisions.Revisions are scoped with the project, and a change that materially moves the agreed scope may need a timeline adjustment or a change order.
  • Not a monthly retainer by default.Site Care is available from $149/mo and is a separate decision.
  • Not a mass-produced set of city pages.Service and location pages are added where real demand supports them, and not otherwise. How many service pages your website actually needs explains how that is decided.
  • Not Google Ads or ongoing content production.Social media is its own service: social media management.
  • Not the same thing as a landing page.A landing page is one page built for one campaign, and it works when something is already sending traffic to it — usually paid ads, which Kreated does not run. It is available as an individual piece of work on Pricing. If nothing is driving traffic yet, a landing page is not the thing that fixes that.
  • Not always the right answer. Some businesses are genuinely better served by a builder they run themselves, and the comparison sets out where that line falls, including the costs on both sides that usually go unmentioned.
  • Not a brand identity.A build works with the logo, type and colors you already have. If those decisions have never really been made, or the mark predates what the business now does, that is Brand Strategy & Identity and it is worth settling before a site is built around it.

Questions

Web design, answered

I don’t have a website yet. Can you build one for my business?

Yes. Starting from nothing is a normal case here, not an exception: the structure and the words get made rather than migrated, and where there is no brand yet, that is Brand Strategy & Identity. LearnSmart is exactly that: a real practice with no website at all, now delivered and live.

What happens before any design starts?

Scope, in writing. What the site has to do, which pages exist, what each one is for, and what it costs. Then the page map and the contact path are settled. Design begins after that, because structure decided late is the expensive kind.

How much of the copy do I have to write?

Less than you would expect. A Launch project tidies your existing wording and writes the headlines and calls to action for you. A Growth project extends that to conversion copy across the homepage, service pages and FAQs.

What is genuinely needed from you is the substance only you have: what you actually do, where you work, and the questions customers ask before they hire.

Is the mobile version included, or is that extra?

Included, and not as an afterthought. Every project is built to work on a phone as well as a desk. For local service work the phone is usually the first screen the site is ever judged on.

Is SEO included, or do I need that separately?

The foundations are included: titles, headings, clean URLs, a sitemap and Search Console, live from day one. A Growth project adds keyword research and mapping, expanded schema, internal linking and redirects.

That is an SEO-ready website, not an ongoing SEO campaign. The continuing work is Local SEO and is priced separately.

What happens after launch?

A Growth project includes a review about 30 days after launch: indexing, tracking, and any early friction. Market Leader adds a second at about 60 days.

Beyond that, Site Care is available from $149/mo for hosting, SSL, uptime monitoring, backups and minor content edits. It is a separate decision, not an automatic add-on.

How many revisions do I get?

Revisions are scoped with the project rather than unlimited. Working through the design is expected and included; a change that materially moves the agreed scope may need a timeline adjustment or a change order, and you would be told that before any work on it starts.

How long does a website take?

Most website projects take about 1–2 weeks, depending on scope, feedback, and how quickly we receive the content and assets needed to build.

Those three things are what actually move the date. A project waiting on photographs or on a round of approvals is not a project being worked on, and the honest answer is that the schedule is shared.

Who owns the website when it’s finished?

You do. After final payment you own the finished website and the design and content created specifically for your project.

Kreated keeps ownership of its own reusable internal systems, tooling, software, processes and reusable components, the things carried from one project to the next. Nothing specific to your business is in that category.

How does payment work?

Standard website projects are 50% to start and 50% before launch. Larger or custom projects may use milestones defined in the proposal.

Every engagement is scoped and priced in writing before any work begins, so the figure is agreed before the first payment.

Who actually does the work?

One person, from the first conversation to launch. The person who scopes the project designs and builds it. Nothing is handed to a junior after the sale, because there is nobody to hand it to.

What happens if we stop working together?

After the final payment the finished website and the design and content created for it are yours. There is no arrangement here that depends on you staying, and nothing is withheld to make leaving difficult.
